Winter 2011 was definitely a standout for swells and perfect banks around Hossegor. Volcom's one and only Joan Duru, loves home during those season breaks when he can just go nuts on his heavy local playgrounds, and let the World tour pressure off. For some yet unexplained reason, the heavier the waves are, the hardest Joan goes. Homeboy just loves the heavy stuff. Reproducing, copying, or attempting any of his moves can cause serious damage and will be at your own risk.
